My very first blog...!!!

"Diary of a photography maniac"... The title of my blogspot revealed itself to me pretty easily, a bit too easily for my liking... Now I have doubts whether my decision was correct or not. I'm pretty ordinary in English, and even more ordinary in photography, so...I guess I should have thought twice before calling myself so boisterously a 'photography maniac'...

But...what is done cannot be undone, and if there's anything my 16 years of experience on this earth has taught me, it is to stay positive and stick to the decisions we take. So here I am starting a blog with absolutely no idea about blogging. Quite honestly, I haven't read a single blog ever before. So, I will ask whoever is reading this now to kindly cooperate with me and help me through this tricky experiment of writing a blog.

I'm calling myself a photography maniac, but honestly, neither do I have enough experience about photography, nor do I have a gifted ability to see what others cannot...I am simply ordinary as I mentioned before, but the only thing I have about photography is the love for this subject. I find photography really interesting, and there are very few things which excite me more than a well composed photograph ( consequently, I will admit, there are even fewer things which make me angrier than looking at a badly shot photograph of a great scene...but, let's not talk about that ). I will admit that I have learnt quite a few things about the basics of photography, and I am keen on learning more. Focal length, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, they sounded such professional and high octave words to me just a few months ago...now, well...not so intimidating. Previously I used to wonder how my shot photographs were different in quality and composition from professional grade photographs...now, after a span of approximately 3000 to 4000 clicks, I realize how much difficult and vast the subject is... All the more reason to enjoy its deepest challenges I guess... Photography is easy, and FUN !!!
